About the DiRECT trial
Adday products are designed for NHS programmes that are based on the DiRECT trial.
In the trial, adults with type 2 diabetes replaced all of their meals with a total diet replacement plan of about 850 calories a day, for about 12 weeks. Then they slowly added normal food back into their diet, with support from their GP practice.
At the end of the total diet replacement stage, people had lost an average of 14.5kg.
Results are different for each person. The trial used a different formula product, not Adday.

What's the nutritional breakdown per serving?
It depends on the format. Shakes, soups and porridges have 20g of protein per serving, and bars have 19g. Fibre ranges from 5.1g to 7.4g per serving, and every serving has 25 or 26 vitamins and minerals. The cards above show the figures for each format.
How do I prepare each product?
Shakes: add 200ml of water to your shaker, add one sachet and shake well.
Soups: pour the sachet into a bowl, add 250ml of hot (not boiling) water and stir well. Leave it for 5 minutes before you eat it.
Porridges: add the sachet to a bowl with 150ml of water and microwave for 2 minutes.
Bars: ready to eat.
Can I mix it with my normal meals?
